Our standards
- We don't accept sponsors our readers would delete us over. If your product or message doesn't pass the sniff test for the specific vertical, we'll say so.
- Every sponsored placement is clearly labelled as such. We write (or heavily edit) the copy to match our editorial voice — otherwise it reads like an ad, which is what subscribers unsubscribe from.
- No dark-pattern remarketing, no pseudo-science, no obviously-misleading financial services pitches. We'd rather decline.
